Overview

This assignment is part of a larger project designed to help students understand the project management process. Throughout the semester you will have assignments due that will cumulate with the final team presentation at the end of the semester.

This assignment will be the only part you will work on individually. The remaining parts will be team-based. The purpose of the topic summary is for each group member to independently research the topic, so that everyone can make meaningful contributions on the subsequent parts.

For this assignment write a one page summary about the topic assigned to your team. This summary should include a brief description of the topic and important terminology. As a student studying business, describe why it is important to know and understand this topic.

You should use a minimum of three sources cited using APA. The sources must be from professional magazine articles including:

Visit the library as many sources are not fully available for free online. Avoid using fee online sources.

Audience

The audience for the summary is an educated professional who is not familiar with your topic.
